Peer to Peer networks (P2P) allow users on the internet to access files contained on another user's hard drive. Many of the files shared are of music, movies and other content that is unlicensed and technically copyright violation.

Canada needs a clear policy on what is copyright violation and what is not. Copyright law has fair use provisions, what do we define as fair use and where to we go from here? Those are two questions to think of when writing this policy.
